Holiday Themed Website Updates

Since the holidays are upon us we would like to give your clients and customers a chance to feel the holiday spirit by decorating your website. We can put a Santa’s cap on your logo, add a garland to your website, add unique holiday banners, or add a little special something to give your website that Hawaiian holiday flair. Just send us an email or give us a call with your preferences or ideas and we will take it from there.

Office Update

Even with the state of the economy, we are happy to report that October was our busiest and best month yet. In order to address the additional workload we have a new addition to the Koa Consulting team, Kamele Eskaran. Kamele has returned home to Hilo after attending school and working in Honolulu in the field of graphic design. She is assisting us with logo and website design. She recently created a beautiful new logo for one of our new clients, Hawaiian Island Gifts. (Please check back to see this logo when the website goes live.)

Also, we would like to announce the new KoaConsulting.com 2.0 website release!  As we recommend with all of our clients that they should refresh their “look” every year or two.  Koa Consulting is celebrating its 3 years serving Hilo with a brand new website release.

New Clients

As was already mentioned, we have been busy and hard at work. The Hilo Jaycees contacted us a while back wanting us to create a website that would serve as a resource for its current members, as a means to showcase their community service projects, as well as a way to recruit new members looking for individual development and leadership training. Hawaiian Island Gifts came to us looking for an overall branding package. We will be creating their website with an online store, as well as providing logo design and copywriting services. We are happily working with Mana Design again; this time we are developing a new website for Big Island To Go, a Hawaiian Gift Basket Company. Ancient Hearts requested a website redesign that showcases services provided by Jonne Marie, a medical hypnotherapist and spiritual guide. She provides services such as hypnotherapy, stress management, yoga and relaxation CDs. Ronna McEldowney contacted us to update her website, Partners in Parenting. Her new website will offer an online store to sell her e-book. We also assisted Dress Up Hawaii, a business that offers home staging services, with the redesign of their website, dressuphawaii.com.

We have already completed some websites for some new clients and these websites are already live. We designed and developed two new websites for residential and commercial building contractors, TNS Construction (tnshawaii.com) and Carlson Homes (carlsonhomeshawaii.com). Apex Painting, a full service Commercial and Residential Painting Contractor located on the Big Island of Hawaii, now has a brand new website (apexpaintinghawaii.com) to help promote its business. And Joy Dillon, a realtor focusing on the Puna District as well as Hilo has a beautifully redesigned site (joydillon.com) where visitors can easily search the MLS for listings.

New Features

We can now incorporate a real-time Online Auction System into our websites. We are able to set up different types of auctions to suit your needs: public, private, with BIN (buy it now), without BIN, Automatic (highest bidder is chosen as winner), or Manual (auctioneer can choose the winner). We recently implemented an online auction system for our current client, Paradise Auction, Ltd. (paradiseauction.com).

Closing Thoughts

Since November is now upon us we are thinking about what we are thankful for. We appreciate all of the new clients who have joined us recently and our many loyal current clients that are happy with our services. And even though we are normally experiencing a good amount of rain this time of year we are still surprisingly enjoying a fair amount of sunshine in Hilo. With this beautiful weather we continue to enjoy and appreciate our great view of Hilo Bay.

Happy Holidays from the Koa Consulting Staff! And Much Mahalo!
