After more than a decade of working in Silicon Valley, Koa Consulting was born from a desire to get away from the "concrete jungle" and move back home to Hawaii. Hurai Rody, the founder, gained a vast amount of knowledge and perspective on the Mainland but felt that he couldn't stay away for long.  With him he brought a strong desire to bring "high-tech" to Hawaii in a palatable way that would help local businesses.

Koa Consulting soon had an office in the Hilo Bayfront and was providing website, graphic design, SEO, and other consulting services to a wide range of clients. Word of mouth (aka "coconut wireless") has a way of spreading and soon it had grown to a team operation.  With some good luck and hard work, Koa Consulting is proud to say it's been in business for nearly 15 years.
